Remember, the minimum bid on any lot is $10 ($ Canadian), and no matter how high your maximum bid,

we will always enter the first bid at $10, and raise it only at 10% increments,

based on the competitive bids received from other bidders.

When bidding, please provide your Permanent F.v.H. STAMPS BIDDER NUMBER.

If you don't remember you number, we can advise you.

 

The Website ‘Current Bids’ are updated Wednesday Night, Thursday Night & for the Final Time on Friday Night.

For even more up to date ‘Current Bids’, phone us Saturday around noon, by which time we will have compiled

most of the many bids received overnight & on Saturday morning.

If BIDDING BY E-MAIL or on the WEBSITE BIDSHEET, please send your bids before 12 noon Saturday Mornings (Pacific Time).

We check for e-mail & Website Bidsheets first thing when coming in Saturday Morning, and as often as possible thereafter, but with the busy store,

often don't have time to check again just before 2pm. Also, occaisional internet delays may deliver your e-mail late,

even though you may have bid with plenty of time remaining.

Lots Wanted for Future Weekly Auctions.

NEW TERMS & CONDITIONS (As of April 2008):

1.         All lots are sold in Canadian Dollars to the High Bidder at Only One BID Increment Over the Second Highest Bidder.

2.         Unless Stated Otherwise, there is NO Hidden Reserve other than our Minimum $10.00 Starting Bid.

3.         Our Charges: Commission is paid by the Seller at a Rate of 20% of the Realized Price plus a $1 per lot Service Fee. There is a $1 per Lot Service Fee to the Buyer also.

4.         7% P.S.T. will be added to the invoice in the case of British Columbia residents only, except in the case of a Registered Dealer who has provided us with a P.S.T. Exemption Number.

5.         5% G.S.T. or 13% H.S.T. will be added to the invoice, in the case of Canadian Residents only, as applicable.

6.         Shipping: Postage will be charged at cost, for lots mailed to out of town bidders.

            A 50% POSTAGE REFUND is available to those Returning the Used Stamps.                                                                                    

A small handling charge of $0.50 to $5.00 per package/parcel, may be charged to help offset packaging costs on items other than a No.8 or No.10 envelope.

7.                   Payment by VISA or MASTERCARD is acceptable at No Extra Charge. Make

            sure we have your preferred credit card number & current expiry date on file.

8.         Lots will be sent out directly to Our Established Credit Clients and to those paying by Credit Card.  Others may be required to Pay For Their Lots in Advance if adequate references have not been provided.

9.                   Stamps are sold as genuine unless

a.   They are described otherwise or,

b.   They are offered 'AS IS', thus we offer no guarantee.

      If a certificate of authenticity will be sought by the purchaser, bids should be placed 'Subject to Cert.'

In other cases we must receive notification of such intention within 10 days of receipt of the lot.

10.        Large lots, 'As Is' lots, lots with described faults or lots viewed in person may not be returned because of condition. We Must Be Notified within 10 days of receipt of any lot with a Significant Descriptive Error. And such a lot must be Returned To Our Premises by the 28th day after the auction.

11.        Maximum Bids Received for lots CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE DIVULGED. They are strictly confidential between the bidder & ourselves !

            ‘CURRENT BIDS’ are based on competing bids received to date.

12.        We Encourage you to Bid Early! In the case of TIE BIDS, the FIRST BID RECEIVED will receive Priority.

13.        BIDS are Canadian Dollars. You need only indicate your MAXIMUM BID. Indicate ‘+’ on your bidsheet to break ties once.

            We start all lots at $10.00 and increase board bids in 10% increments, only once  other competing bids have been received. The ‘CURRENT BID’ is Only One BID Increment Over the Second Highest Bidder.

            Once the live auction starts, bid increments are:

            Up to $60          Increments of $2

            Up to $120        Increments of $5

            Up to $200        Increments of $10

            Over $200          At Auctioneer's Discretion.

            Bids placed in $ U.S. Will be converted to $Canadian at current exchange rates.

14.               The placing of a bid or consignment of materials for sale indicates acceptance of these terms & conditions.
