the highest bidder & the second highest bidder

(in Even Dollar Amounts), once other

Competitive Bids are Received.

‘Current Bids’ shown are based on

the competitive bids received to that time.

When bidding, please provide your Permanent

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1.         All lots are sold in CANADIAN DOLLARS to the High Bidder at Only ONE BID INCREMENT OVER the Second Highest Bidder.

2.         Unless Stated Otherwise, there is NO HIDDEN RESERVE other than our Minimum $10.00 Starting Bid.

3.         Our Charges: Commission is paid by the Seller at a Rate of 25% of the Realized Price plus a $1 per lot Service Fee. There is a $1 per Lot Service Fee to the Buyer also.

4.         5% G.S.T + 7% P.S.T will be added to the invoice of British Columbia residents.

            13% H.S.T. will be added to the invoice of residents of Ontario.

            15% H.S.T. will be added to the invoice of residents of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland.

              5% H.S.T. will be added to the invoice of residents of the other Provinces & Territories of Canada not listed above.

            No H.S.T. or G.S.T. is applicable to mail order sales delivered outside of Canada, except for the application to the $1 per lot service fee.            

5.         Shipping: Postage will be charged at cost, for lots mailed to out of town bidders.

             (A 50% POSTAGE REFUND is available to those Returning the Used Stamps from the package we send to you). A small handling charge of $1.00 to $3.00 per package/parcel, may be charged to help offset packaging costs. No such charge for lots sent in No.8 or No.10 envelope. Mailing Insurance charged @ 50¢ per $100 Shipment Value or portion.

6.               Payment by VISA or MASTERCARD is acceptable at No Extra Charge. Make

            sure we have your preferred credit card number & current expiry date & VCC Code on file.

7.         Lots will be sent out directly to Our Established Credit Clients and to those paying by Credit Card.  Others may be required to Pay for Their Lots in Advance if adequate references have not been provided.

8.                   Stamps are sold as genuine unless

a.   They are described otherwise or,

b.   They are offered 'AS IS', thus we offer no guarantee.

      If a certificate of authenticity will be sought by the purchaser, bids should be placed 'Subject to Cert.'

In other cases we must receive notification of such intention within 10 days of receipt of the lot.

9.         Large lots, 'As Is' lots, lots with described faults or lots viewed in person may not be returned because of condition. We Must Be Notified within 10 days of receipt of any lot with a Significant Descriptive Error. And such a lot must be Returned To Our Premises by the 28^th day after the auction.

10.        Maximum Bids Received CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE DIVULGED. They are strictly confidential between the bidder & ourselves.

11.       ‘CURRENT BIDS’ are based on competing bids received to that time at an appx. 10% differential in whole dollars.

12.        We Encourage you to Bid Early! In the case of TIE BIDS, the FIRST BID RECEIVED will receive Priority.

13.        BIDS are in Canadian Dollars. You need only indicate your MAXIMUM BID.

             PLEASE BID IS WHOLE DOLLARS ONLY (No Cents).

             Indicate ‘+’ or ‘Y’ on your bidsheet to break ties once.

            We start all lots at $10.00 and increase ‘Current Bids’ in appx. 10% increments against other competing bids received. The ‘CURRENT BID’ is Only ONE BID INCREMENT OVER the Second Highest Bidder, or if the two highest bids are within 10% of each other, the higher bid shall prevail.
